I chose “W Singapore Sentosa Cove,” because I had stayed at a hotel on the right side of Sentosa Island before, and this time I wanted to stay at the hotel on the left side. This hotel had good reviews about the pool and breakfast. However, since the beach is not nearby, the yacht harbor and residences are close, and the tourist destination is far away, so it may not be suitable for those who want to enjoy sightseeing. My friend stays here frequently with her children and told me that customer service is good, so I though this would be the perfect hotel to stay at.
What is the appearance of the hotel? Check the entrance and reception
There is a large letter “W” in front of the hotel.
It is lit up at night and it stands out.
The entrance is on the first floor and the lobby is on the second floor. There are two elevators leading to the lobby. The entrance smelled very nice.
The lobby was spacious with sofas, and you can drink orange water. Various monuments were displayed in the hall.
There were many staff standing at the front desk.

What is the Fabulous Room like?
Guest room entrance.
There was a mirror on the right with a beautiful light under it.
The room was very big. There are many hotels in Singapore with small rooms, but this rooms was very spacious. There was enough space even with suitcases open on the floor. Also, I was impressed at how clean the room was.
The bed was a king size bed with a firm mattress and soft pillows. I was able to sleep on the bed comfortably.
I was able to change the color of the light under the bed to purple and it created a nice atmosphere.
There was a TV and a desk across the bed.
There was an outlet on the wall by the desk.
There was a small stool by the window.
There was a chair with a foot rest and a table by the bed.
There was a balcony.
There was a sofa and a table on the balcony. You can sit and relax outside. There were no bugs around.
Since the hotel is curved, so I could see the balconies of the other rooms, but it did not bother me too much.
From my room, I could see the hotel pool and the yacht harbor which was a nice view.

Facilities in the hotel
The hotel has a large outdoor pool. There was a water slider and I was able to slide almost without waiting. There is also a beach bar, and there is a jacuzzi in the same space, so you can relax. Towels can be rented, so you don’t have to bring your own towels.
There was also a shallow pool for children, and many children were playing in this pool. It was not crowded and I was able to spend time comfortably.
The pool is open 24 hours. It is lit up at night and looks different from the pool during the day. There were almost no children at night, so it is recommended for adults. There were no staff renting out towels late at night, so you will need to bring your own towel.
The garden was kept very clean.
There was a gym with many equipments which is open 24 hours a day.

There is a residential area by the hotel, and there are supermarkets and restaurants that the residents go to. It was very quiet at night. It’s a bit dark at night, so you should call a taxi if you are planning to go far. If you want to walk, there are restaurants along the yacht harbor.

Staff and guests
The staff were very kins and gave good customer service.
There were many guests staying with children. There were not many couples staying. I was surprised that there were many children even though it was a luxury hotel.

It takes about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. There is a free shuttle bus from Vivocity’s Harbour front station shopping mall, so you can ride it. The nearest shopping mall is in Vivocity. It felt like a very safe neighborhood. There are not many tourist destinations around, but you can ride the hotel shuttle bus to get to the main areas. There is a free shuttle bus to Vivocity, and almost everything is there.

Summary
I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Because it was on the edge of Sentosa Island I could spend a quiet and relaxing time. According to the reviews, this hotel serves the world’s best breakfast, and a variety of dishes were served in a buffet style. Singapore’s specialty laksa was the most delicious laksa I’ve ever had. The rooms were overwhelmingly big compared to the hotels I had stayed so far, and I was able to spend a relaxing time. It rained for a while, but I never got wet even on the balcony. It was nice to be able to get to the pool easily.
