The main reason for choosing "Park Hotel Clarke Quay" was that there was a free shuttle bus from this hotel to the next hotel. This time, I was looking for a hotel for my business trip. I often stay in the city when I work, but I thought it would be easy to meet friends because this hotel is near a restaurant area called Robertson Walk.

The hotel is located on Robertson Walk and has a stylish cafe on the 1st floor.
There were flags above the entrance.
There was a carport at the entrance.
There was a concierge desk at entrance, and there were many bags being stored.
The lobby was not very big. There were sofas by the front desk.
I was able to check in smoothly.

What is the Superior Room like?
The room was a little small. The bed frame was gold, and pictures hanging on the wall created a modern atmosphere. If you open up your bags on the floor it will take up a lot of space, but there was plenty of room for one person to stay.
The queen size bed was spacious.
The mattress was soft and comfortable to sleep on. There were a total of four pillows prepared on the bed.
There was a telephone, memo set and a TV remote on the bedside table. There were no outlets around the bed which was inconvenient.
Two free bottles of water.

A desk next to the TV.
There was an outlet by the desk.

Free shuttle bus schedule.

I could see the buildings, park and a river from my room.
I could also see the hotel pool bellow.

There was a shower room, sink and toilet all in one room.
The shower room had a glass door. There was an overhead shower and a removable hand shower. The water pressure was just right.

Towels were prepared under the sink.
Tissue and soap.
Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body cream, toothbrush and a comb was provided.

There was a closet next to the bathroom. The door to the closet was a full length mirror.
Plenty of hangers were prepared inside.

Mini bar and cafe
There was an electric kettle, cups, spoons, Singapore Klip Party and Nescafe instant coffee prepared on the desk. The water bottles prepared on the desk were charged. However, free water bottles were prepared next to the bed.
Instant noodles, nuts, snacks, etc. were prepared in a drawer.
Beer and soft drinks were prepared in the fridge.

Restaurants in the hotel
There was a restaurant called the “Porta” on the first floor. It is also popular with non-hotel guests, and is open from morning until 22:30.
Breakfast is served buffet style. I had lunch here, and the food was Western style.
The restaurant was stylish. Some rooms were semi-private.
“Cocobolo poolside bar & grill” on the second floor. You can order drinks and snacks here and take them to the pool.

Facilities in the hotel
There was a big outdoor pool on the 2nd floor which was always full. There were about 20 beach beds on each side.
Beach towels were prepared at the pool.
There was a gym that was open 24 hours a day.
There was also a club lounge on the 10th floor. This lounge is exclusively for guests staying in club rooms and above, and offers breakfast and evening cocktails.

Hotel Surroundings
I felt safe around the hotel because there were many people passing by until late at night. Many of the restaurants were closed for lunch on Saturday and Sunday, so it was very quiet on the streets. However, it was crowded on weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays at night.

Staff and Guests
The staff were very welcoming. There were several staff at the front desk, so it was nice to be able to check in without waiting.
The majority of guests were elderly Westerners. I did not see any families with children.

Access
It took about 20 to 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. There are many resultants around the hotel, so it was lively at night. There is also a supermarket, drugstore, convenience store and coffee shop in the mall across the street. From the nearby bus stop, I went to Orchard Road which is a shopping district.
A restaurant called the “Wine Connection” located near the hotel.

Summary
I had a nice stay at this hotel. It is a 3 minutes walk from the nearest station, the nearest bus stop is across the road, and there was a shuttle bus that will take you to the city, so it was very convenient. Also, there were many restaurants nearby. The room was not big, but I was able to keep the curtains open while maintaining privacy. It was a little noisy at night, but it may have been because I was staying on the 6th floor. The price was reasonable, but it was a high class hotel.
