I decided to stay at the "Miyakojima Kurima Resort Seawood Hotel" because it was a reasonable hotel. This hotel is located on Kurima Island, which is close to Miyako Island, and I was planning to rent a car, so I thought it would be convenient near the target Yonaha Maehama Beach. This time it was a girls' trip, so there was a nice pool in front of the restaurant, and there was a place that looked like Instagram, which also helped to decide on this hotel.

There is a “Ryugu House” with the front desk, shops, fitness gym, etc., 107 “Villa House”, Hotel Building type “Shuri House”, and a restaurant that also serves as a breakfast venue. There was also a “beach house” and it was very big.
As the name suggests, the building called Ryugu House, which has a front desk, had a distinctive design like a palace.
The water was lit up at night, creating a nice atmosphere.

After the check-in procedure, we headed to the “Shuri House” where our room was located. Two staff brought our luggage to our room.

What is the Shuri House Deluxe Room like?
Guest room entrance door.
The room was deep and spacious. The overall atmosphere was woody and modern, and the image of Ryukyu was wonderful. There is also a table set by the window, and it was nice to have a space where you can relax outside the bed. It was a very convenient room and I wanted to stay for more than one night.
The ceiling was very high.
Two beds were put together. It was comfortable to sleep on, and I was able to sleep soundly.
Two pillows and a cushions were prepared on each bed.

There was a TV, luggage stand and a desk across the bed.

There was a phone, memo set, clock, mirror, TV remote, tissue, deodorant spray, and more on the desk.

There was a window with blinds.
My room was on the 1st floor, so I could not enjoy the view.

Bathroom
The sink, bathtub and toilet were separate.
There was a washing area next to the bathtub.
I was able to relax in the spacious bathtub.
There was a bath chairs prepared as well.
Overhead shower
Both the hand shower and overhead shower had just the right water pressure.
The bathroom was equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body soap from Thai natural skin care brand “THANN” (the body soap was on the side of the bathtub).
Face & hand soap.
Amenities such as a toothbrush set, razor, shower cap and hairbrush were provided.
Towels, hair dryer, scale and basket under the sink.

There was a cafe corner next to the closet with an electric kettle, ice bucket, cups, glasses, wine opener, two bottles of water, coffee and green tea.
There was also a fridge, but nothing was prepared inside.

Restaurants and Shops in the Hotel
At the beach house next to the outdoor pool, there was a Western restaurant called “KISSHO” where I had breakfast.
You can see the pool from the large windows.
Breakfast was served buffet style.
The dishes were very small.
You can enjoy Okinawa style food as well.
On the 2nd floor of the Ryugu House where the front desk is located, there seems to be a Japanese restaurant called “Kissho Kurimajima.”
There was also a shop called “The Boutique” in front of the front desk.
I made a reservation with a plan including Pierre Hermé’s limited macaroons which I received at this shop.

There was an outdoor pool in front of the restaurant where I had breakfast. The pool has a total length of 25m and seems to be available for a limited time from April to November.
There was a gym on the 2nd floor of the Ryugu House where the front desk is located.
This is the “Benten Spa” where you can get various treatments.
There was an observation deck on the roof of the Shuri House where our room was located.

Hotel Surroundings
The beach is just around the corner. The beach, which is about a 5-minute walk from the restaurant, is a large place where you can snorkel. It is essential to rent a car, as there are only a few restaurants, etc., about 10 minutes by car. There seemed to be no convenience stores on the island, so I think it’s better to go there before entering Kurima Island. In addition, there was a sugar cane field around. It is a place where you can enjoy the nature of Kurima Island and is perfect for staying away from the city.

Staff and Guests
The staff gave me a polite explanation from the time of check-in, which gave me a good impression. The site is large and we received a walking map. After check-in and a welcome drink, the two staff brought our luggage to our room.
There were a wide range of customers, including people in their 20s, families and couples. There were villa type rooms, so I think it is a hotel suitable for a large number of people to stay together. The parking lot is also available free of charge, so I think there are many younger generations in particular.

Access
Access from the airport is not very good. Since it is far from Miyakojima Airport and Shimojishima Airport, a rental car is absolutely necessary. By then, there are many supermarkets and convenience stores, so you need to buy what you need before going to the hotel.

Summary
I had a very relaxing and good time at this hotel. Since the hotel is big, I went to the breakfast restaurant after walking around the hotel grounds from the morning. As I walked around the premises, the staff greeted me every time I passed by, so it was a bright and nice atmosphere. Especially after playing on the beach, I was very happy to have a relaxing time in the bathtub in my room. There was also an Instagram-like paint on the stairs of the hotel, and many people took pictures. I would love to stay at this hotel on my trip to Miyakojima again.
