Detailed review & photos “Furama RiverFront”

There was a door man standing at the entrance. It was early in the morning, so I was not able to check in yet and got a tag and was shown to the front desk.

The floor is marble and had a high class feeling to it. It was morning, but there were many guests. The lounge at the back of the lobby was informed in advance that it was under construction until November 2019, but there was a wall so as not to damage the appearance, and I was not even aware that it was under construction.

The room was not ready yet when I checked in, so I was shown to a shower/changing room on the fifth floor.

There was a concierge desk in the lobby.

There was a stairway leading to a restaurant called “The Square” on the second floor and also to the executive lounge.

There was a bathroom and a full length mirror on the right, and a closet and a cafe corner on the left.

There was an air conditioner that worked very well.

I was able to open up my suitcase between the bed and the TV. There was a family with two small children staying in the next room, but it was very quiet. It is a room soundproofed very well.

There was no sofa, but the bed was a Hollywood twin, so both sides were spacious. However, the room was a little dark even with the lights on.

The bed was spacious with two fluffy pillows. The blanket was thin, but it was warm enough and I was able to sleep very well.

There was a memo set and a phone on the bedside table.

Next to the window was a table and a chair.

There was a big window. It was nice that the window was big, but I was worried that the guests staying in the room across my room could see inside, so I kept the curtains closed.

There was a pool beneath us.

There was a fence on the outside of the window to prevent people from falling. It was nice to be able to hang towels on the fence.

The bath and shower were together.

There were bath towels hanging above the bathtub.

I chose this hotel because it has a bathtub, and it was nice to be able to stretch my legs in the spacious bathtub.

The shower was fixed on the wall. The water pressure was strong, but the holes were small, so it did not feel like water was coming out.

Amenities were prepared on the sink. There was toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, comb and shower cap. I have never seen a hotel with toothpaste alone. The amenities were in a black package.

There was a hook on the door, so I was able to hang my towel.

There was a closet on the left side of the entrance.

The closet was spacious with an automatic sight system.

There was a gown, iron, ironing board and a safe inside.

The safe was built in the wall.

There was an electric kettle, cups, tea bags and instant coffee at the cafe bar. I got 2 bottles of 350ml water bottles every day.

There was an outlet to plug in the electric kettle.

There was also a fridge, but nothing was inside.

The hotel has a restaurant called “The Square” where I had breakfast.

Breakfast was buffet style, and I was able eat dishes from all over the world.

There was Singapores famous jam at the bread section.

Ham and cheese.

You can do takeout at the drink corner.

You can make your own noodle, and also have soup that changes everyday.

The hotel has an outdoor pool, a children’s shallow pool and a jacuzzi. Early in the morning, the cleaning staff was cleaning the poolside. The hotel lent out floats and boats for free. There were no staff watching the pool, so it is best to keep your eyes on your children.

There was a gym on the fifth floor.

A kids play room was on the first floor.

There was a coin laundry on the fifth floor.

You can use the shower room on the fifth floor which you can use before check in as well.

You can get a massage on the first floor.

There were many vending machines in the hotel. There were many snacks and drinks in the vending machine by the front desk.

There was a vending machine with ice-cream on the fifth floor.

You can borrow a bicycle.

There were many guests staying as a group. I also saw families with children. There were many pilots and flight attendants staying at the hotel as well.
