I chose "Conrad Chicago" because I had always wanted to stay at a Conrad brand hotel, and when I decided to travel to Chicago, I checked the price and it was available for a reasonable price. Also, because it was during cold season, it was important to be in the center of Chicago and a place that is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and eating. As I had a baby with me, I thought that it would be nice to be able to return to the hotel as soon as possible. Also the modern atmosphere was attractive. The room was nice as well, so I decided to stay at this hotel.
What is the appearance of the hotel? Check the entrance and reception
The hotel is surrounded by tall buildings, so the hotel could not be seen from afar. There was a hotel name on the side of the canopy.
There was one bell boy standing at the entrance. The hotel was golden and very gorgeous.
The check-in takes place at the reception on the 20th floor, so the ground floor is relatively compact, with only an elevator and a sofa.

The front desk was on the 20th floor, so there were only hotel guests or restaurant guests, and it was not crowded, so I was able to relax on the sofa.

What is the Queen Room like?
Guest room entrance door.
The bedroom and bathroom were more spacious than what I saw in photos. The interior was had a warm color, and seemed like a room that would work as a business hotel, and a hotel for families.
The beds were clean, and I could sleep very comfortably.
There was a light switch and an alarm clock next to the bed.
A wooden crib was prepared.
There was a table and a chair next to the bed.
There was a TV opposite the bed.
There was another set of table and chair here.
There was a sofa by the window.
The room seen from the window.
There was a window. The curtain was a blackout curtain and could be opened and closed with a single switch, so I could sleep in a dark room.
I could see the surrounding skyscrapers from the window, such as the Trump Tower, which is unique to Chicago. It was fun to sit on the sofa and look at the tall buildings and watch the people walking on the streets.

Bathroom
The bathroom was larger than I expected, and there were two sinks.
There was a bathtub on the right side of the wash basin. The bathtub was wide and deep, so I was able to soak in and relax. I requested a room with a bath, but there were only 6 rooms, so I was only able to check in after 17:00, but it was worth the wait.
There were two types of showers, fixed and removable, and there was no problem with the water pressure.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared above the bathtub. They smelled very nice.
Toilet.
Wash basin.
Amenities were also prepared on the washstand. Unusual overseas, there was a set of toothbrushes and a shoe polish. My husband forgot his toothbrush, so it was very helpful.
There was also soap.
There was also a body lotion and a mouthwash.
A hair dryer.

There were more than 10 hangers in the closet and there were about 3 different types of hangers.
There was also an iron, an ironing board, and an umbrella prepared.
There was also a safe.

Mini bar and cafe
There was a Nespresso coffee machine at the cafe corner, and I used it for the first time, but the coffee foam was creamy and it was very tasty.
There were also glasses, coffee cups and tea bags prepared.
There were mall water bottles inside of the fridge.

Restaurants in the hotel
There was a restaurant called “Baptiste & Bottle” next to the front desk.
The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere and serves hamburgers and pancakes for lunch.

Environment around the hotel
The environment around the hotel was very good and I did not have a bad impression. There were so many shops, and I think it is very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and eating. The hotel is 1 minute away from Magnificent Mile, which is one of the main streets, so it was easy to get to the hotel.

Staff and customer base
The hotel staffs were all very kind. They were helpful when I wanted to upgrade my room.
Because I was staying on a weekend, there were more family tourists than guests staying on a business trip. Also, I was surprised that I saw many young fashionable teenagers at the front desk.

Access
The nearest airport is Chicago O’Hare International Airport. I took an Uber from the airport, an it took about an hour to get to the hotel. If there is no traffic jam, I think you can arrive in about 30 minutes. If you take a train, I think it will be cheaper than taking a taxi or Uber, but it would take longer. It was very convenient because there were many shops near the hotel. The CHICAGO 360 was a 10 minute walk away, and it was nice that it was very close.

Summary
I had a nice stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and the hotel was in a convenient location to get to many places. I was able to warm my body thanks to the room with a bathtub. I was able to enjoy myself in a comfortable room with tasty coffee, plenty of movies to watch on the TV, and I was never bored. There were no shops in the hotel, but there was an organic supermarket called Wholefoods and Trader Joe ’s nearby, so I had no trouble finding a place to buy food.
