I chose "The Beach Tower Okinawa" because it was a family-friendly hotel near American Village, with a year-round heated outdoor pool. There were several hotels near American Village that I thought were good for families, but this hotel had "Easy Mummy Pack," which offers diapers, milk and sweets for children. In addition, even though it is 5000 yen per adult with breakfast per night, there is a plan that comes with a ticket of 3000 yen per room, so I decided to stay here.

The hotel is 24 stories tall. It is not a new hotel, so it did not look very luxurious.

What is the Beach Tower Standard Room like?
Guest room entrance door
There was a coset on the right and a bathroom on the left.
The Standard Room has a two twin size beds and a queen size bed and the room is 46 square meters. The room was quite large and there was a separate bedroom for twin beds. The room was large enough to accommodate four adults, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. It was a very nice room.
The queen size next to the living room was comfortable to sleep on.

The sofa was big.
A big desk and a TV.
There was another room next to the queen size bed, and there were two beds there. The twin beds were comfortable to sleep on as well.
A veranda.
The veranda was big.
I could see the beach right in front of me and I could also see the American Village. The view from the 9th floor already nice, but the view from the upper floors would probably be splendid.

The bathroom and toilet were separate. There was a washing area next to the bathtub which was convenient to have.

The shower was a removable hand shower, and the water pressure was just right.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
There were several restaurants, lounges and bars in the hotel. I had breakfast at “Churatida.”
Inside the hotel
There were tables on the terrace and guests can do BBQ outside at night.
There was baby food and kids food.
You can have freshly baked steak.
There was a shop selling snacks, drinks and so on.
There was also a shop selling souvenirs.

Facilities in the hotel
There is a hot spring called “Churayu” with a heated pool that can be used all year long using a hot spring. On the homepage, this facility was said that guests could use it at half price, but I got a free pass at the reception! It is said that you can use it as many times as you want until the evening of the day you check out, so it is probably a service only during off season or a service that comes with a plan.
There is a park behind the hotel that you can get to from the back door. You can see the beach from the garden.

Hotel Surroundings
There is the American Village where you can enjoy sightseeing, dining and shopping. There is also a beach called Sunset Beach in front of the hotel. It is not a private beach. There aren’t any shops like a sea house, and there are tables and chairs in the park. There were relaxing in the park after taking a walk. It was not crowded in December, but I am pretty sure that it would get crowded in summer.

Staff and Guests
The staff were really kind to my children and of course very polite to me. There were many families staying at this hotel. It is a perfect hotel for families with children to stay.

Access
It was about an hour drive from the airport. There is no station near the hotel, but there are buses running here and there. There is a U.S. military base and it is an area where many foreigners living. There are also many shops along the main street.

Summary
There are many benefits such as “room upgrade,” “easy mommy pack ticket,” “in-house use ticket 6000 yen,” “Churayu free pass” and a truly exhaustive service. Although it is not a luxury hotel, I was impressed with the large room. I was able to enjoy Okinawa during off season. It was nice to be able to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere at the hotel and the American Village.
