"Reku Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort" is a new resort hotel that opened in March 2020. It is a luxurious hotel with a big natural hot spring pumped from the underground of 1,400 meters, which is rare in Okinawa, and an infinity pool overlooking the city of Chatan and the ocean.

The hotel is located in a part of “Mihama American Village,” and is a colorful 8 story building.

What is the Premier Corner Suite like?

The room was about 47 square meters wide and was very big. It was a stylish and functional room with many outlets and plenty of space to store my luggage.

The beds were double size beds with a comfortable mattress. The pillows were Vessel Hotel original.

Children under the age of 18 can stay for free, so all rooms have bigger size beds with a width of 120 cm or more.

There was a USB port and a light switch on the headboard.

There were two chairs and a table between the bed and the TV.

At the back of the room was a day-bed, table and a stool. The day-bed can be turned into a bed to sleep on at night. Up to 4 adults can stay in this room.

Hotel Surroundings

The hotel is located in a part of “Mihama American Village,” so there are many shops and restaurants nearby. If you show your hotel card key, it seems that there are services such as discount benefits at about 110 affiliated stores in “American Village.” There is also a convenience store on the 1st floor of the hotel.

Access

It is about 40 minutes away by car from Naha Airport. There was also an airport shuttle bus running between Naha Airport and the hotel. The nearest local bus stop, “Kuwae,” was a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Summery

I had a nice stay at “Reku Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort.” The room was spacious and fashionable, yet functional and comfortable to spend time in. There was a large natural hot spring bath which is rare in Okinawa that I enjoyed very much. The atmosphere of the building, which incorporates Okinawa Modern into Art Deco, matches the cityscape of the American village. I would love to stay at this hotel again.
