Detailed review & photos “InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong”

The exterior of the hotel is a square building. The “InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong” logo is visible on the outside wall from any direction, making it easy to find the hotel.

There was always a doorman at the entrance.

When you enter the front lobby, it is a calm space with a chic and classical atmosphere. The front desk is on the left immediately after entering the lobby, so you won’t get lost. In addition, the front staff will carry your suitcase for you.

The high ceiling had a gorgeous elongated chandelier.

The room entrance door. The door had a profound feeling.

It was a door of the type which you insert a card key.

There was a closet on the left and a bathroom on the right.

The Garden View King Room’s are tastefully decorated with dark brown-colored furniture and warm-colored lighting.

The king bed is too large for one person to sleep on. The hardness of the mattress was just right and I could sleep well with fluffy pillows.

On the bedside table there was a phone, a note set and an alarm. There was one outlet socket, and also a conversion plug.

The opposite bedside table has a light switch and a socket.

There is a TV on the wall opposite the bed.

There was a smartphone available for free on the platform below the TV. Not only can you use free WiFi, you can also make local calls and international calls to designated 20 countries for free.

There was also a wired LAN cable in the drawer of the stand below the TV.

There was also a desk and a chair.

At the end of the desk, there was also an outlet.

There was also lighting on the desk.

There was also a sofa and table for single use by the window.

This room has a window towards the courtyard of the hotel, so you can not see the outside, but it’s not facing outside so you won’t hear any noise of the cars, and it’s very quiet and relaxing. In the courtyard, it seems that only greens are lined up. If you want a view, I recommend a room with a harbor view.

The bathroom door is a sliding door and is also a full-length mirror.

The bathroom is large. There was a bathtub on the right side, a toilet in the front, and a washbasin on the left side.

The shower was removable, the height could be adjusted, and the water pressure was sufficient and could be used without any problems. The shower curtains were double inside and outside, so it was very good as it prevented water from splashing outside.

Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were prepared on the bathtub. The shampoo and a conditioner was good.

Towels were also prepared. Towels were thick and large.

There was also a health meter under the wash basin.

Two complimentary mineral waters were prepared on the wash basin.

There was also hand soap and body lotion.

There were amenities in the drawer of the wash basin. The amenities included toothbrushes, razors, combs, shower caps, cotton swabs, nail polishes and sanitary bags.

There was also a hair dryer.

The closet was on the left side of the room.

The closet contains more than 10 different types of hangers, iron, ironing board, slippers and a shoe polisher. There is enough space inside.

There was a safe in the drawer of the luggage stand.

There was also a cafe corner. Instant coffee, tea bags and sugar was prepared. There was also mineral water which were charged (with free mineral water on the bathroom basin).

In the drawer under the refrigerator, there was an electric kettle and an ice bucket.

The mini bar was full of red wine, gin, vodka, whiskey and snacks.

There was also a refrigerator.

The refrigerator contained white wine, beer, cola, juice, and paid mineral water.

I had breakfast at “Café on M.”

“Café on M” is a buffet-style restaurant with Western and Chinese dishes.

There was also a live cooking corner at an open kitchen.

There were also smoothies at the drinks corner.

There were many kinds of fruits and desserts.

I had an omelet and Chinese noodles, and they were delicious.

There is a Lobby Lounge in the lobby.

There is also a grand piano, and live piano is available on Tuesdays to Sundays from 15:00 to 17:45.

Near the lobby is the “Tiffany ’s New York Bar.”

You can enjoy a variety of drinks and snacks in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Italian restaurant, “Mistral,” is located on the 2nd basement floor.

A Cantonese restaurant, “Sea View,” is also located on the 2nd basement floor.
