"The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong" is a luxury 5 star hotel located in the heart of Central Hong Kong. Office buildings and luxury boutiques are lined up around the hotel. It is a short walk from MTR Central Station and a 10-minute walk from Airport Express Hong Kong Station.

If you look closely, there is a Mandarin logo.

As the hotel is in a complex building, the appearance is not as striking as the side with the Mandarin logo. There is a doorman at the entrance, so I could tell right away that it was a hotel.

There is a TV opposite the sofa. It is a quiet space where you can not hear outside sounds because the window glass is doubled.

Although it was a twin bed, it was a semi-double size. I was able to sleep comfortably on the bed.

Bathtubs were equipped with bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel and bath salt amenities.

The shower room was large, and there were two types, a movable hand shower and a fixed rain shower. Both have enough water pressure.

Opposite the bathtub there was a wash basin facing the window. There are two sinks. The mirror on the left is a TV monitor.

The amenities were in the drawer of the wash basin. Here you will find amenities such as toothbrushes, T-shaped razors, combs, cotton puffs, cotton swabs, mouthwashes and sewing sets.

The L900 Landmark Suite also has a large round bathtub, with a living/dining room and a bedroom on both sides of the central bathtub.

Environment around the hotel

The area around the hotel is a central office district. There are many shops with high-end brands and you can go directly to the shopping mall from the connecting passage in the hotel. There are also many restaurants and bars in the area, which is convenient.

Staff & customer base

All staffs were kind and polite to me and I felt that they were very sophisticated.

The customer were mainly Western businessmen and Chinese. Also, the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel seems to have many repeaters staying.

It is about 10 minutes on foot from the Hong Kong Airport after you arrive at Hong Kong Station by the Airport Express.

Summary

The impression I had of this hotel was very good. I realized that this is a hotel that is definitely the highest class hotel in Hong Kong. You can spend a relaxing time in a calm room, and you will be limited to rooms with L 600 or more, but if you experience a circular bathtub, you will want to take a bath again and again. The area around the hotel is crowded because it is in the downtown area, but the hotel is calm and quiet. If you are visiting Hong Kong for the first time, I would like to recommend the Harbor View Room Hotel, but if you have visited several times I would like to recommend this hotel if you would like to spend more time in the hotel.
