Detailed review & photos “Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, Hong Kong”

This is the exterior of the hotel as seen from the opposite side of the entrance. Tall palm trees lined up and reminiscent of California. The hotel was blue and white.

Since it was during Halloween, the entrance had a Halloween sign.

The lobby had a luxurious atmosphere with white marble floors and white and golden lights.

There were sofas along the window in front of the front desk.

This time, I made a separate reservation application with two friends and my family, and my friend was checking in two days later, and if I explained the situation to the front desk, they said that they would arrange a room as close as possible. In fact, when my friend and family checked in, they were in the room on the same floor. It was a nice hospitality.

Key card and a fast pass for Disney Land.

Although it was a beautiful room, it was not very Disney like. If you expect an excessive Disney feeling, you may feel disappointed. My child was pleased with the Mickey painting on the wall. The only thing that worried me was that I could hear someone snoring loudly next door on the first day. I don’t know if the neighbor’s snore was just loud or the walls are thin.

The bed was rather hard. but I was able to sleep comfortably. If you have a small child, it may be better rent a baby cot.

There was a table and two chairs.

Coupons for the hotel were provided on the table.

There was a big window with a view of the pool and courtyard.

There was a bathroom on the right side of the entrance. There was a shower-integrated bathtub.

The bathtub was big enough to lay in.

The shower was an adjustable and removable hand shower, so it was easy to use and the water pressure was sufficient. It may be a little unsatisfying for those who prefer strong water pressure. There was no problem with drainage and it was clean. The shower curtain was doubled, so water did not leak outside.

Shampoo, conditioner and body soap prepared on the sink.

There was also a soap with a Mickey Mouse deign. The amenities are very simple. The quality of the amenities were neither good nor bad.

There was a very spacious closet.

There were 6 hangers inside. There was no iron or baggage rack, but when I asked about the baggage rack at the front desk, they prepared one for me right away.

There was also a safe in the closet.

There was a cafe corner next to the closet. At the cafe corner, there was an electric kettle, ice bucket, cups, instant coffee and tea bags. I was glad that there were two 1.5L plastic bottles that were refilled every day. It was nice, because it was hot in Hong Kong.

There was a fridge, but it was empty.

This is a restaurant called “Chef Mickey” where you can meet Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

A big picture of Mickey and Friends were painted on the wall. You do not need a reservation to have breakfast here.

This is the “Studio Lounge.” At night, they show a Disney movie on a big screen.

It is open until 11:00 pm, so it is convenient for the last shopping before returning home.

The hotel had an outdoor pool.

It is a shallow pool that is about 25m long. The water is deep, so it is best if children swim in the pool with an adult. There are water slides and play tools for small children, so it is a pool more for families. There were always two lifeguards watching.

Towels for rent.

They also lent out life jackets of a size for young to middle aged children by the entrance.

There was a small game corner for children called “MALIBU GAMES.” It was available for free except for some crane games, and there were games such as throwing balls into holes.

There was a movie theater for children. It is a nice place for children to wait for parents to check-in.

Next door is the “Disney Explorer Lodge Hotel.”

There were many families staying at this hotel.
