"Hotel Strata Naha" is a new hotel that opened in April 2020. The Yui Rail "Miebashi Station" is right in front of the hotel and has excellent access to Naha Airport! It is also within a 10-minute walk to Kokusai Dori, the main street in Naha. There is a private parking lot at the hotel, so it is convenient for those who arrive by car.

Hotel exterior
The hotel is a 15 story tall and slender building.
The lights were turned on at night.
Trees were planted a the entrance and kept very clean.
There was a carport at the entrance convenient for when the weather is bad.

The entrance had a double door.
There was a showcase selling goods such as a cushion cover using Shuriori, Ryukyu glass, hotel original mist, etc.
The lobby was not big, but the modern and natural design created a calm atmosphere.
The floor to ceiling windows made the lobby feel bright and open.

What is the Twin Room like?
Guest room entrance door
The room number plate was made out of Ryukyu limestone which was very stylish.
The entrance door will take you right into the bedroom. There were hooks at the entrance to hang your clothes.
The “Twin Room” which I stayed in was 23-25 sqm wide and not very big, but had a balcony where I could relax. I was able to spend a comfortable time in a room with a natural and modern atmosphere.
There were two single size beds stuck together. Two pillows were prepared on each bed.
Pajamas were prepared on the bed.
There were outlets and a USB port on both sides of the bed.

There was a sofa and table next to the bed. The cushion cover was made out of Shuri-ori.

There was a balcony at the back of the room.
Two chairs and a table were prepared on the balcony.
There was a plant on the balcony creating a resort like atmosphere. You cannot see the balconies next to you, so you can have complete privacy.
The view from my room was of buildings in the city.
I could see the courtyard and the pool down bellow.
The city lights were beautiful at night.

Bathroom
The bathroom was across the bed and the door had a mirror on it.
The sink, bathtub and toilet were all separate. The hotel is new, so the bathroom was very clean.
There was a washing area next to the bathroom.
You can look outside from the window next to the bathtub while relaxing inside.
The shower was a removable hand shower, and the water pressure and temperature were just right.

There was a hand & face soap on the sink and a face towel hanging next to it.
There were amenities, cups and a hair dryer inside the drawer.
Amenities included a toothbrush, razor, body sponge, comb and a cotton swab.

Closet and safe
The room did not have a closet, but there was a rack next to the sofa for hanging clothes. There was also a deodorant spray hanging.
There were slippers and a shoe horn at the entrance.
A safe was in a drawer under the TV.

Mini bar and cafe
There were a capsule type coffee machine, two bottles of mineral water, along with a telephone, memo set and a Bluetooth speaker under the TV.
Cups, glasses, spoons, coffee capsules and tea bags were prepared in a drawer.
There was also an electric kettle next to the safe.
Nothing was prepared in the fridge.

Restaurants in the hotel
There was a cafe dining called “CAFE STRATA” on the first floor. Lunch is popular here with those who are not staying at this hotel.
It was a big restaurant with a high ceiling and big windows. It was a very relaxing space.

This is Ayanumi, a stone-fired restaurant just past the courtyard. Ryukyu limestone walls, wood, stones, and other natural materials are added to the interior of the store with Ryukyu glass lighting to create seasonal ingredients from all over Japan that are simply cooked in a large stone kiln in the open kitchen.
The rooftop bar lounge “SKY SALON” was located on the top floor.
You can enjoy the view of Naha in a relaxing space.
There was a private room at the lounge as well.
There was also a water basin on the outdoor terrace. It felt as if I was at a resort.
It can be used as a membership only business lounge.
You can have drinks while enjoying the nice view of the city.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool and a kids pool in the courtyard. The pools were surrounded with trees.
There was a gym on the second floor with plenty of exercise equipments prepared.
There was a laundry room with four washing machines and dryers each. It is very convenient for those staying for a long period of time.
There was also a vending machine in the laundry room.

Introducing Other Rooms!
This is the “Garden Terrace Twin Room.” The design is the same as the twin room I stayed in.
The room is on the second floor with a garden terrace.
There was a hanging chair on the terrace.
The view of the pool and courtyard was beautiful.
This is the “Tatami Twin Room.” Two 110 cm wide beds were prepared in a 33 square meters big room.
This room had a tatami mat that is perfect for families with children.
This is the “Deluxe Corner Twin Room.”
The room is located in the corner of the building, so you can enjoy a view of the city from two different sides. The room is 37 square meters wide with a spacious living room.
The balcony was big with sofas and chairs to sit on. You can relax and enjoy the view.
This is the “Executive Suite.” Up to four people can stay in this room if you turn the sofa into a bed.
There was a desk behind of the bed.
The bedroom and bathroom were connected, and the bathroom had a big bathtub in the middle.
The view from the bathroom was beautiful. It is nice to be able to enjoy the view from the bathroom.
This is the “Strata Suite.” It is the biggest suite among all rooms in the hotel. Okinawan style art works are on display here and there.

The bathroom and bedroom were connected, and you can enjoy a nice view of the ocean from the bathroom as well.
This is the “Panorama Suite.” Located on the upper floor, this room features a three-story glass ceiling.
You can enjoy a nice view of the city from the bathroom as well.
It felt as if I was floating above the city.

Most of the staff were Japanese, and they were very kind.
There were many couples, families and those who were on business trips staying at this hotel.

Summary
I had a nice stay at “Hotel Strata Naha.” Despite it being in the center of Naha city, the hotel was surrounded by trees which was very relaxing. The room which I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. It was also nice that the bathroom had a window with a view of the city. I can recommend this hotel for both sightseeing and for business trips.
