I chose "Premier Inn Heathrow Airport Terminal 4" because my return flight was in business class, so I wanted to enjoy the Heathrow airport lounge and make it an airport hotel with less travel time. When I checked out the hotel a while ago, I was able to make a reservation on the online travel reservation site, but I could only make a reservation from the original website. The price was a little more expensive than before, but it is located in a convenient location, so I decided to stay here.

There were many check-in machines near the entrance. However, I arrived at 13:45 and the machines could only be used from 14:00, so I did not get the chance to use the machine.

What is the Double Bed Room like?

The room is very compact, but clean. It is not a gorgeous room, but it is functional, so if you are only staying to get some rest, it would not be a problem. The bed and bathroom were kept clean, and it was nice because it was still new.

There was a small bed by the window, and I used it as a sofa.

There was a TV and a desk across the bed.

The pillow was thin, but the blanket was very comfortable. It was a double bed, so there was plenty of space for one person to sleep in.

There was no balcony, but there was a window. Because I was staying on the second floor, the view was only of a building.

It was nice that there was a bath tub.

The water pressure was strong enough, and hot water came out right away.

There was a small space to hang clothes by the desk. There were about 6 hangers.

Mini bar and cafe

There was a hot water machine, instant coffee, tea, fresh milk and sugar. There was no water, so I had water water from the sink. The water tasted fine to me.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel

Next to the reception, there is a shop called “Costa” that sells pastries, sandwiches, salads and snacks. If you walk to the adjacent airport terminal, they have cafes and shops there.

Staff & customer base

The staff were kind, but seemed busy because there were many customers. However, they answered my question carefully, and checked me in without rushing me.

There were many young couples, groups and businessmen staying. There were not many families staying here. Most people leave early in the morning or arrive late at night.

Access

The hotel is connected with Heathrow Airport Terminal 4. It is about 15 minutes on foot to the terminal. It is not complicated, because you just walk along a single road. There were signs saying “4 more minutes to the airport” or “2 more minutes to the airport,” making the long walk entertaining.

Summary

I had a nice stay at the “Premier Inn London Heathrow.” The next day, I got up at 5 o’clock and headed to the airport. I felt safe even late at night, because I was able to walk in the airport the whole way. The room is simple, but it’s comfortable if you think it’s just for sleeping, and the price is reasonable. It was a very big hotel, so I almost got lost. The housekeepers were working very hard, and thanks to them I was able to stay in a clean and comfortable room. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity to.
