I chose “Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel,” because I first thought of going to Penzance on the sleeper train “Night Riviera” after going to a musical, but it turned out that it would not be operating on Saturday, and I was suddenly in London. There is a cheap B&B near Paddington Station, but the rooms seemed too narrow. Luckily, I found this hotel that seemed perfect for me.

What is the Twin Bed Room like?
The guest room door seen from the inside.
It was a very nice room that was spacious with a simple design. I was able to spend a relaxing time. It was a twin bed room, but there was still plenty of room to open up my suitcase on the floor.
There was a welcome fruit prepared on the table.
The TV sometimes had some trouble with the connection, and when I told the staff, they brought more fruit in apology.
There was a table, chair and a foot stool by the bed.
The bed was comfortable to sleep on. The sheets were clean and it felt very nice.
The window was oval shaped and it was very stylish.
I could see the Thames River from the window, and the view at night was beautiful as well.

Bathroom
The bathroom was spacious. The bathtub, shower, and toilet were separate, so it was very convenient.
There was no problem with the water pressure for the shower.
When I walked to the bathtub from the shower, I got the floor wet, but the floor matrial dried quickly.

Towels.
L’Occitane bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body milk were prepared. Since there was only one bottle each, I had to ask the front desk to bring more. The quality was very good.

Closet and safe
There was a closet on the right side of the entrance.
The closet was equipped with hangers and slippers. There was a safe, and it was a type that you set your own security number.

Mini bar and cafe
At first there was no cafe corner, so I contacted the reception and they brought some. I got an electric kettle, instant coffee, tea bag tea, and coffee milk. At that time, the housekeeper told me “If you want more, ask for room service.”
There were snacks that cost money.
There were plenty of drinks prepared in the fridge.

Restaurants in the hotel
There is a restaurant next to the front desk for breakfast and dinner. It is spacious and can be used for parties as well.

Facilities in the hotel
There is a pool in a separate building about 5 minutes away on foot. You will need the hotel key to get in, so it was nice to know that people other than the hotel guests will not come in.
The view of the pool is amazing. You can see the Thames River while sitting on the deck chairs.

Environment around the hotel
The environment is good because there is a large park along the Thames River and both sides of the hotel are residence apartments. It seemed like a very relaxed residential area.
It is a very pleasant place. There was a shopping mall with major shops on the way to the station, and it was very convenient because there was no need to go to the city of London to do some shopping.

Staff and customer base
The staff were people from Spain and the United States, and some of them had very strong accents, but I could tell that they were trying hard to communicate. They recommended good restaurants to me, which was very kind. In addition, cooperation with the butlers seemed to be good and the suitcases were delivered to my room right away.
There were many elderly couples and families. I saw many families with small children playing in the pool. I did not see many businessmen staying.

Access
Trains are convenient from London Heathrow Airport. It is reasonable to come to Paddington Station by Heathrow Express and use the subway from there. I walked about 15 minutes from the nearest station, but I arrive happily because I went through shopping malls.
Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line) is a 15-minute walk from the subway station, and there is a shopping mall conveniently around the station. Shops such as Boots and Zara are available at the mall, so you can enjoy shopping without having to go out. There are also plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy international cuisines in the mall, including Indian and Spanish cuisine.

Summary
I had a very nice stay at “Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel.” Above all, the scenery overlooking the Thames River from the room was the best. When looking at the map, I was worried that it would be far from the station, but it was actually very convenient and not a problem at all. In addition, the nearby shopping malls have also suppressed the recent fashion, and popular shops were in the area. Even if you get up early because of jet lag, you can take a walk in the surrounding park and get some fresh air, and it was great to swim in the pool while looking at the Thames River. The spa with pool is open early in the morning and there is no congestion, and the jacuzzi has a moderate water flow and water pressure, so it was nice to relax in the jacuzzi.
