I decided to stay at the "Padma Resort Legian" for my parents' 50th anniversary. This was a hotel close both the city and the beach and was a prefect location. Time passed by slowly at the hotel and I was able to spend a relaxing time.

The hotel was located at the edge of a lively street with stalls.
The hotel was very big and beautiful with trees and flowers planted at the entrance.
There were no doors to the entrance and it felt very open. I received a flower to put in my hair.
There was a large object in the middle of the lobby.
The ceiling was very high.

What is the Deluxe Lagoon View Room like?
Guest room entrance door.
There was a closet on the right and a bathroom on the left.
The room relied on natural light, so it was a little dark at night. However, it was nice and bright during the day.
There was nice warm breeze coming in from the window.
The bed was a king size bed. The mattress and the fluffy pillows were comfortable to sleep on.

Desk and chair.
A comfortable chair to sit in.
There were also two chairs on the balcony.
I could see the pool from the balcony. The breeze felt nice and it was a perfect place to take a nap. It is hard for people to see you from the pool, so it is private.

Bathroom
There was a bathtub on the right and a shower room and toilet on the left. Amenities such as a toothbrush, shower cap, brush, cotton swab, cotton, and a sanitary bag were prepared by the sink. There were no razors prepared, so it is best to bring your own if needed.
The bathtub had a karan and a shower. The water pressure was a little weak, so it took a while to pour hot water into the bathtub.
Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and body soap were prepared above the bathtub.
You can see the outside while soaking in the hot water.

There was an electric kettle and tea bags prepared on the table.
There were also cups and glasses.
There was a fridge, but nothing was inside it.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
There were several restaurants in the hotel.
I had breakfast at “DONBIU.” They mainly offered Indonesian and it was delicious. The croissants and crepes were especially delicious.

There was also a gift shop at the hotel selling clothes, head oil and so on. They were reasonably priced.

Facilities in the hotel
There were a total of 3 outdoor pools on site. The pool closest to the accommodation building is connected to the terrace as it is on the first floor which was more like a private pool.
The pool on the sea side was an infinity pool which was very popular. Many were relaxing under the parasol. The sea was right by the pool.
The pool was big enough to swim gracefully.

Th courtyard was like a jungle, and there were statues of animals here and there.

Hotels Surroundings
There was a convenience store nearby. The streets were busy with cars passing by and the smell of gasoline bothered me a little. I had trouble crossing the street.

Staff and Guests
The staff and housekeepers were all very friendly and talkative. As for the guests, I had the impression that there were many Westerners staying. There were mostly guests staying as a group (more than 5 people).

Access
It was about 40 minutes by car from the hotel. However, it takes about an hour if there is heavy traffic. Morning and evening are especially crowded. There are many shops, restaurants and bars around the hotel, and it is very lively. There were no beggars on the street. Since taxis are cheap, I traveled around by taxi. The Bluebird taxi was the cheapest in my opinion. I also recommend riding a motorcycle taxi since there is only one lane.
When I asked for the taxi driver to pick me up after shopping he came on time.

Summary
I had a very nice to stay at this hotel. The view from the hotel was beautiful, the room was large and I was able to spend a relaxing time. The staff were all very friendly as well. I was thankful for their kind service. I was able to relax both physically and mentally. Next time I would like to stay for more than a week.
