The exterior is an old British building that has a parking lot right from the road, and with a garden at front. The entrance was small, and hard to find.

There are other B&Bs nearby, but no shops. The area around here seems to be a luxury residential area, and I heard from the hotel staff that the area is safe. It is a quiet place where you can wake up in the morning with sound of birds chirping. You have to walk a steep hill to Bath Spa Station for about 15 minutes, so if you have a lot of luggage, you can call a taxi.

Staff and customer base

The staff were friendly and helpful. He/she helped me carry my suitcase. As I stayed for 3 nights, and became close with them and talked about many things.

Access

It is far from London Heathrow Airport. You will need to get to Bath Spa Station by train or by bus. There are other small airports around, but depending on which country you are flying in from, it may be more convenient to come from Paddington Station in London.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. It was hard to find a single room, so it was nice that this hotel offered one. The steep slope was a bit hard, but the summer in England was long, and it was bright and comfortable until 9 o’clock. While staying at this hotel, I participated in a local tour twice, and the staff knew about the tour and served breakfast earlier than usual which was very kind of them. Breakfast was very satisfying because there was sparkling wine in addition to orange juice and apple juice at the free drink corner. I made a reservation after knowing that there was no elevator and that the single room was on the top floor, but I was not particularly troubled because the staff helped me carry my suitcase. I would like to stay here again when I visit Bath.
