Detailed review & photos “Good Hotel London”

The exterior of the new hotel was very stylish.

There is a large sign in front of the hotel, making it easy to find.

The lobby was modern.

The front desk, lounge, and restaurant are all open floors with no wall partitions. This hotel seems to be a social service organization that trains local people with long-term unemployment and uses all of their benefits to educate underprivileged children, so the staff were well trained and I was able to check in and check out smoothly.

There was a a light switch and a air conditioner remote by the door.

The bathroom is by the door.

I was a little surprised at how small the room was compared to to the spacious lobby. However, it was a very clean and a functional room.

On the left side of the room, there was a storage shelf and a desk.

The bed was clean and the hardness of the pillows and mattresses were just right for me. However, I wished that the bed was a little bigger.

There was a small round chair at the foot of the bed.

The room was on the road side, but there were not many cars on the street, so it was not loud around the Ropeway station. However, the walls were thin and I could hear voices in the next room. I wanted to stay in a room with a view of the River Thames.

The bathroom is small. However, it was cleaned very well, so there was no stress about that. There is a sensor in the toilet, and when you touch the button, the toilet flushes, but a little trick was needed to understand it.

There was hand soap prepared by the sink.

There was a shower room. The water pressure was just right. Because the shower room and bathroom doors are shared, you can see the bathroom door very well form the toilet.

Body soap and shampoo were prepared in the shower room.

There was no closet in the room, and there were only five hooks with hangers on the left wall right by the entrance.

The safe was on the shelf.

The cafe corner was on the same shelf as the safe. At the cafe corner, there was an electric kettle, mugs, milk, tea bags, instant coffee, sugar and more. There was no fridge.

There was a restaurant called “The Living Room” open all day on the first floor.

The lounge and the restaurant were connected.

I had a light meal at “The Living Room.” The food was neither good nor bad.

There was also a bar in the restaurant.

There was a bar on the roof.

The hotel is located on the water front, so it is a nice pace to relax if the weather is nice.

There was mini-supermarket in front of hotel and it was convenient. It was not a busy street, so it was quiet at night. There were many apartments, and it was a mixed atmosphere of tourist and locals. The city itself was made in line with the Olympics, so it was a new and beautiful cityscape. You can have breakfast at the hotel, but there was a cafe in front of the hotel, so I had breakfast there. Because it is calm compared to the center of London, so it is a recommended place for those who want peace and quiet.

The guests staying were mainly young people and young couples. The hotel is new and untraditional, so it may not be suitable for those who like tradition and history. The price is also cheap for a hotel in London, so it is popular among young businessmen and travelers.
