I decided to stay at the "Staybridge Suites Seattle Downtown-Lake Union" because I was on a business trip and was looking for a nice, but affordable hotel. Also, because I was planing to stay long term I preferred to stay at a hotel that had a free laundry service. I also wanted to do sightseeing during my free time, so it was convenient that the hotel was 10-15 minutes by Uber to Downtown Seattle.
It was a relatively new business hotel (opened in February 2018). The hotel was located in the same building as the “EVEN HOTEL,” so the entrance was a little complicated.
The hotel faced the main street.
Only two people can check-in at the same time, so I had to wait in line for a little while during crowded hours.
The lobby was gorgeous with plenty of sofas to sit on.
You can have coffee and tea anytime you like.

There was a full length mirror on the right.
There was also a kitchen on the left.
The rooms were very big with a kitchen, bed, desk, table, sofa and so on. There are outlets and USB plugs everywhere, so it was convenient for charging my devices. The room was cleaned very well and I was able to spend a comfortable time.
The bed was a little soft, but I was able to sleep comfortably. The four pillows prepared on the bed were soft and flat, so I had to put use two at once.
The TV was next to the bed.
There was a sofa and desk across the bed.

The shower, toilet and sink were all in the same space.
The shower room had glass door, so I did not have to worry about splashing water on the floor. The shower head was fixed on the wall, but the water pressure was strong and comfortable to use.
There was shampoo, conditioner and body soap prepared next to the shower. It felt very nice on my hair and skin.
There was hand soap and body lotion on the sink.
Three extra bath towels were prepared above the toilet.

There was a closet next to the bed.
There was an extra blanket inside.
There was also an iron, iron board, laundry basket and a safe.
The safe was a little small, but it was nice to be able to store my valuables inside.

There was a kitchen in the room.
Cups, salt, suger and pepper.
A drip type coffee maker.
There was tea prepared in the room, but three types of coffee and ten types of tea were prepared at the lobby as well, so you have plenty of choices.
The fridge was big, but nothing was prepared inside.

The hotel served breakfast every morning.
Breakfast was buffet style.
There was bread, cereal, and oatmeal.
There was also a waffle maker.
You can make your own taco.
There was a small shop selling snacks, instant noodles, microwaveable pasta, ice cream and so on.
However, the price was twice as expensive as the average price.

There was a gym open all day.
There was also a laundry room with three washing machines and dryers. Guests can wash and dry their clothes for free.
There was a courtyard located in the middle of the hotel. There were about ten tables and chairs prepared, but I did not see anyone in the courtyard, because it was raining during most of my stay.

The area around the hotel was quiet and safe with many office buildings lined up. There were also many restaurants nearby. I saw Starbucks on every block. However, there was only a drug store to purchase my daily necessities.
The first Starbucks in Pike Place Market.
“Serious pie & biscuit,” a restaurant famous for their pizza and biscuits that is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

The staff were kind. I arrived early in the morning, and they were happy to keep my luggage for me. They always greeted me when I walked into the lobby.
Since there are many offices of major IT companies nearby, there were many people staying on a business trip. However, I also saw some families with children staying as well.

It only took about 20 minutes by taxi from the Airport which was very convenient. There are almost no trains in Seattle, and route buses are quite inconvenient, so I used Uber or lift to get to places. It only took about 10 minutes by Uber to get to the downtown area and it only cost 8 dollars. If the roads are crowded, it may be best to walk to the downtown area as it only takes 20 to 30 minutes.
“Pike place market” about a 10 minute drive away.
You can buy groceries and daily necessities at “Whole foods.”

I had a nice stay at this hotel. I felt very comfortable in my room. I especially enjoyed the free coffee, the clean bathroom and the comfortable bed. It was also nice to be able to do some work on the desk. I bought groceries at “Whole Foods,” so it was helpful to have a big refrigerator in the room. The only inconvenience was that the Wifi connection was bad. It may be a little inconvenient for those who rely on the hotel Wifi.
