Detailed review & photos “SpringHill Suites by Marriott Yuma”

The hotel is surrounded with flat lands.

The hotel is three stories tall. The Holiday Inn is next to this hotel.

My husband complained about the room being narrow, but we were only staying for a day so it did not bother me at all.

Right after entering the room, there was a sofa, a table, a desk and a chair on the left side. Because there is a partition between the bedroom and the living room, the living room was a little dark.

There was water, candy and a message on the table.

There was a desk across from the sofa.

The TV was located between the living room and the bed room.

There were drawers under the TV.

The bed was big and kept very clean, but it was a little too soft for my taste.

There was a window at the back of the room, and an air conditioner under it. Because of the air conditioning, the curtain length is short and su light leaked in in the morning. Thanks to that, I was able to wake up at 5 o’clock and was able to see the sunrise. The sound of the air conditioner was also a bit loud, but it kept the room cool.

I could not open the window, but it was too hot anyway. The pool was beneath us.

The surrounding was mainly just flat land and some palm trees.

The bathroom was large compared to the size of the room. Although the sink was a little out dated, it was outside of the bathroom and convenient to use.

Amenities were prepared on the sink. There was body cream, shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup remover and so on.

There was a toilet, a shower and a bathtub. Th toilet paper was a little far from the toilet.

The shower head was fixed on the wall, and the water pressure was strong enough.

There was a closet next to the bed and the window. Inside was an iron, ironing board, luggage rack, extra sheets and blankets. There was no safe.

There was a counter with a sink.

On the counter, a coffee machine, regular and decaf coffee was prepared.

There was a microwave on the shelf above the counter.

There was a fridge, but nothing was inside.

Breakfast is provided free of charge to hotel guests. There were no other restaurants in the hotel.

Breakfast was buffet style, and they served bread, oatmeal, ham, cheese, fruit and so on.

There was a shop next to the front desk, and they were selling snacks, drinks and daily necessities.

There was an outdoor pool at the back of the hotel. It was too hot to be outside during the day, but it gets cooler in the evening, so I think it’s better to get into the pool around then.

There was a Jacuzzi next to the pool, but it was too hot to get in. The pool is open until 11:00 pm and saw people swimming in the pool at night from my room. The pool at night was lit up and it looked very nice.

There was a large gym that is open from 6 am to 11 pm.

There is a laundry room on the first floor.

There were free drinks provided on the first floor.

There was a computer and a printer prepared in front of the front desk.

There was a room for events and meetings.

The hotel has a car rental service.

I saw people in the military staying. I also saw construction workers staying and leaving early in the morning. There were families staying as well. Not many people seemed to be staying for sightseeing purposes.
