I decided to stay at the "Residence Inn Fresno," because I was on a business trip in this area and was looking for a Marriott hotel. I was expecting a hotel surrounded by nature because the map showed that it was near Yosemite, but it was actually in a residential area.

The hotel was off the main road.
There was a parking lot surrounding the hotel.
There was an American flag standing in front of the hotel.
The room above the entrance was shaped in a triangle.

The front desk reminded me of a counter at a hospital or an office.

What is the One Bedroom Suite like?
Guest room entrance door
There was a living room and a bedroom at the back. The room was handicap accessible, so it was a spacious for people in wheelchairs to be able to move around easily.
There was a sofa, table, desk and a TV in the living room.

The sofa can be turned into a sofa.

There were empty drawers under the TV.
The bed was clean and comfortable to sleep on.

The view from the room was not the best. I could only see supplies for construction stocked up in a pile.

Bathroom
There was a handicap accessible bathroom.
The shower head was fixed on the wall and water pressure was just right. The shower curtain was also clean and I was able to wash comfortably. “Tea Tree” shampoo, condition and body soap were prepared as well.

There was hand soap and makeup remover prepared on the sink.

Closet and safe
There was a closet across the sink. There was no door to the closet and the hangers were hanging in a lower position easier for those who are handicap to be able to get to easily. There was also an iron, ironing board, spare blanket and so on prepared inside.

Kitchen
There was kitchen with a lower counter for people who are handicap.
There was a sink, IH stove, microwave and a dishwasher.
There were also cookware and chinaware prepared in the shelves.
Coffee, tea and popcorn were prepared on the counter.
The fridge was big, but nothing was prepared inside.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
They were serving free breakfast at the lobby.
Breakfast was served buffet style.
Cereal, fruit, sausages and so on were prepared.
I had a nice breakfast.
There was a small shop next to the front desk selling snacks, sodas, etc.

Facilities in the hotel
There was a courtyard with a pool, tennis court/basket ball court and a BBQ area.
The pool was surrounded with fences.
There was also a jacuzzi.
The pool was lit up at night, but I did not see anyone swimming in it.

Hotel Surrounding
I heard that the hotel was not in a safe neighborhood, so I was being extra careful at night. I saw some homeless people on the streets near the hotel. However, it was safe to walk around during the day. Security guards were walking around the hotel at night making me feel safer.
There was a big supermarket called “Food maxx” across the road from the hotel.
A Mexican restaurant open 24 hours a day.

Staff and Guests
The staff were kind. When my hands were full, they opened the door for me which was very helpful. As for the guests, most of the people seemed to be staying on a business trip.

Access
The hotel is near Fresno International Airport. In fact, I saw an airplane flying nearby. Most people had cars, so I did not see anyone walking on the streets. It is not a safe neighborhood, but there was a university nearby. It was convenient to have a supermarket and a restaurant nearby. There was also a shopping mall about a 15 minute walk away.

Summary
I stayed at this hotel with my husband and we explored around the city during the day. I had to walk a little, but there was a big shopping center and I enjoyed shopping there. It was very quiet in the hotel during the day. The room was big and I could relax as if I were at home. There was also a BBQ grill, basketball court, tennis court and a pool, so I was able to enjoy myself during my business trip.
