I chose “Courtyard by Marriott Santa Barbara Goleta,” because I had to go on a business trip to Santa Barbara and the location of the hotel was good.

The hotel was a two-story building with a stylish balcony. There was a parking lot around the hotel.

Once inside, the atrium lobby was filled with beautiful lights, gorgeous chairs, and wood carved decorations designed on the ceiling.
There was a fire place in the lobby.
The lobby was very relaxing.
The decoration was beautiful.

What is the Junior Suite like?
The room was clearly larger than the other rooms. The room was unified with red and it was calm engine and was spacious. The ceiling is curved like a wave, and it had an image of the beach. Sunlight came through the window, and I was able to relax in a bright room.
The bed was big and there was plenty of space. The bed was a little soft but it was not a problem.
There was a TV and a closet across the bed.
There was storage space under the TV.
There was a sofa and a desk at the back.
The sofa was relaxing, and I was able to use my computer here. The sofa becomes a bed as well.

There was a large window, and I was able to open it half way. It felt very nice when the sunlight shown in.
I was able to see the courtyard from the window. There were many people playing golf.

Bathroom
There was a shower room, and it was very spacious.
In the glass-enclosed shower room, there were steps to make it easier to wash your feet. The shower was fixed on the wall and there was no problem with water pressure and drainage. The shower room had TEATREE brand pump shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
Toilet.
Sink.
On top of the sink was hand soap, non-alcohol cleansing and body lotion were provided. The quality was average.
There were towels prepared under the sink.

Closet and safe
There was a closet next to the TV in the bedroom.
There were hangers, iron, ironing board, luggage rack, laundry bags and etc in the closet. There was no safe.

Mini bar and cafe
There was a cafe corner next to the bathroom. A microwave oven was also installed here.
There was a coffee maker and some coffee prepared.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
The hotel had a restaurant called “The Bistro.” I received a fruit cup at breakfast with a ticket for a free appetizer who participated in the game at check-in.
I did not see many people going to the bar.
There was a shop next to the front desk. They were selling snacks, drinks, ice cream and wine.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool in the courtyard. It was accessible with the room key, and there were parasols and deck chairs by the pool.
The relatively large pool was designed to be enjoyed by both adults and children. There was also toys for children to play with.
There was a large gym.
There were two meeting rooms.

Environment around the hotel
There were busses going around town, and many locals were riding it. The hotel was close to the highway which was very convenient.

Staff and customer base
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The game was held on the day I arrived, and at the time of check-in, I was given a roulette to which something would definitely hit, and gave me a free appetizer ticket for the BISTRO.
There were people staying for business and people who were staying on a vacation. I saw many families on the weekend.

Access
There was a shuttle bus going from the hotel to Santa Barbara Airport. Since Santa Barbara Airport itself is not that big, the noise did not bother me at all. The bus also ran randomly, and there was a bus going to downtown Santa Barbara. There was no inconvenience with getting to supermarkets, bars and restaurants because there were many behind the hotel. During my stay, I asked if there was a rental bike at the hotel, but the staff gave me a free ride to my destination instead, and it was very helpful. The driver took me to the first Habit store, famous for its burgers. The fresh burger was the best.

Summary
Although the hotel was located a little ways from Santa Barbara, I could get there in 15 minutes by car. Sightseeing on the beach and relaxing in the hotel was an amazing experience. The halls were spacious with many paintings displayed. I do not stay in Los Angeles that often, but it was nice to be able to spend time in the Santa Barbara area. The taco shop, which was packed every day, was very cheap and delicious. I was very satisfied with the restaurant. The hotel was amazing, and I would definitely want to stay here again.
